Clear your calendar for the month of May, at least from 26th to 28th and book your place at the MTN Bushfire 2017.The music event, held in Swaziland every year, seeks to celebrate creative expression while stimulating the economy and drawing talent and tourism from across Africa and around the world. MTN Bushfire 2017 is set to attracts 25,000 music fans who will gather in scenic Malkerns Valleys of Swaziland to experience the African culture, music, food and art and craft. Named Africa’s Top Festival by the BBC, one of the 7 African must-attend festivals by CNN, MTN Bushfire has lived up to its billing, growing in attendance every year. Some of the artists set to perform this year include African legend Hugh Masekela, South African global exports GoodLuck, Kwesta, and Matthew Mole, pan-African stars Jah Prayzah, Faada Freddy, Chico Antonio, Femi Koya, and Jojo Abot. Others on the line-up include South African kwaito superstars TKZee, Congolese performer Baloji, the Taureg rebel Bombino, and the Belgian / South African newcomer Petite Noir. In addition to its musical line-up, the festival also has a holistic and family-friendly experience, from the kid zone to an adventurous space for young fire starters and an experience space where creative curiosity is inspired and revived.
